Todd and Timberly,
This blog is wonderful. My prayers and heartfelt sympathy goes out to all three of you. My heart still breaks each time I think of little angel Anna. But really we belong to God and we are here only under His timing. God took her home to care for her. God will see you three through this difficult situation. At least we have the memories of her to carry in our hearts.

I just became aware of all of these events through Jeff Mooney on Facebook. I just returned from Indonesia with a group last week. I was in Bandung a few days before we flew out.

Hi Todd,

It is wonderful to see you represented here on the Internet. We have wonderful memories of fun times with you at Cal Baptist “back in the day,” and are blessed to hear how God has used you to further the Kingdom.

We live in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jim is superintendent of Calvary Chapel Christian Schools here, as well as worship pastor at Calvary Chapel Spring Valley (always the over-achiever). I am teaching English in high school and singing on the praise team with two of our children Laura (a music major, sophomore in college) and Sam (a 10th grader). Our eldest son, Brennan, has served as a missionary to El Salvador for a year and is on sabbatical awaiting his wedding this coming January 16th to a wonderful, godly young lady who will join him on the mission field in February. They are expecting to be assigned to La Gloria, Mexico. We have another son, Ethan, who is a senior in high school. He loves to act.

We would love to see you again, this side of heaven, if possible. Las Vegas is a nice place to visit (hint, hint), and God has blessed us with a wonderful church family here (“where sin abounds, there His grace all the more abounds”–we have found this to be true).

Good to hear from you after all this time. I have good memories of our time at Cal Baptist. I visited a friend who is teaching there now and the place has certainly changed.
I don’t know when I will get to Las Vegas, but I will try to look you up if I do. It sounds like you have a wonderful family there.

I felt led to share this with you. Although I don’t remember ever physically meeting Anna, she continues to effect me today. Anna’s story is an inspiration to me and she has been a major stepping stone in helping me strengthen my faith. I am eternally gratefully for God using Anna’s story to draw me closer to Him. I just wanted to say thank you for raising a daughter who, although she is younger than me, gives me hope and assurance in God. Thank you for sharing Anna’s story, you don’t know how much it means to me.
I hope this doesn’t come off in a way that I am being insensitive to your loss. I am so deeply sorry and I cannot imagine the pain you feel. Like I said, I just felt led to share.

Hi Todd. How are you? Do you miss CA? I am sorry to here about your mom. And your daughter. How is everyone in your family? Brian freeman is a grandfather. Anna is a grandmother. Jeff,Deb and I don’t have kids. We’re all living TX now. I lived in Alaska for a while. Loved it. Very beautiful. I would like to move back. Or CA.
